10. Does OFCOM allocate telephone numbers for VoIP services ?

If a VoIP service fulfils the requirements of the public telephony service, the allocation of addressing resources is based on the same conditions (in particular the provisions of the Decree on Addressing Resources in the Telecommunications Sector) as for the "traditional" public telephony service.
For example if a telephone service provider offers a fixed line, a voice service which conforms with the public telephone service and permits access to the public telephone network via an interconnection, he will receive a range of E.164 numbers in the "fixed network services" category.
