The Plateforme Tripartite for digital governance and artificial intelligence in Switzerland

The Plateforme Tripartite is a national information hub and multi-stakeholder platform for exchanging information on topics related to internet and digital governance and artificial intelligence (AI). The platform is open to all interested persons and institutions in Switzerland. OFCOM will provide regular updates on the work on the overview of the possible regulation of AI in Switzerland via the platform and offer the opportunity for exchange and input. To this end, it is organising several meetings for all interested parties of the Plateforme Tripartite over the course of 2024.

Location of radio transmitters - Redesign of the overview map

In order to ensure that Switzerland is provided with broadcast services (radio and television programmes) and telecommunications services (mobile communications), radio transmitters must be operated. The transmitter sites are shown on an overview map. This has been redesigned in the area of mobile radio and expanded to include useful information on the transmitter stations (name of the operator and station, use of adaptive antenna modules, information on authorisation, etc.). The revised map has been available online since 13 March 2024.
