Licensed private radio stations are empirically assessed for compliance with the performance mandate on a regular basis.
Licensed private radio stations are analysed during peak broadcasting hours. The study is based on constructed week
sampling. A quantitative content analysis is conducted. The study focuses on the core areas of the performance mandates in the licences. Among other things, it provides an analysis of the diversity of topics, players and forms of informative programmes, as well as of their regional relevance. The reports are in German. Management summaries are available in German, French and Italian for
all survey years and in English for certain years. This study is currently being conducted by Publicom AG.
