Digitalisation is changing the media industry from the ground up. Traditional media are being used less, advertising revenues are collapsing and new players are fighting classic forms of media for audience attention. The demands on content production and distribution are also changing. All these developments have resulted in structural changes in the media landscape. OFCOM's structural report maps these changes and their effects on the Swiss media landscape. It compiles existing data on the radio and television landscape in Switzerland and will in future be updated every two years.
The first version of the report is limited to the presentation of the public service of radio and television. The report can be extended to other forms of media.
The report is only available in German, French and Italian.
