The following must be included with each item of apparatus:
- information required to enable the apparatus to be used in accordance with its intended purpose;
- all information on the precautions which must be taken during the assembly, installation, maintenance or use of the apparatus, so that it meets the essential requirements during use.
If conformity of the apparatus with the essential requirements is not guaranteed in residential areas, a clear indication of the restriction on use must be provided in the apparatus operating instructions and on the packaging.
This information must be written comprehensibly in the official language of the respective location in Switzerland where the apparatus is offered (in bilingual locations this must be in both languages).
