Each year, OFCOM determines users who will be subject to surveillance (e.g. taxis, boats, haulage companies…). The aim is to check all the categories of licensees over a period of 5 years.
The following main users have been selected for checking in 2012:
- Licensees who have not annouced any modifications for more than 5 years
- Persons who were denounced by the police, the customs or third
- Persons at public events (for example sporting event)
