Geneva AI Summit 2027: International Summit on Artificial Intelligence in Geneva

The international summit on artificial intelligence (AI) governance, the Geneva AI Summit, will take place at the exhibition and conference centre Palexpo in Geneva on 21 and 22 June 2027. It will focus on two strategic priorities: seizing the opportunities offered by AI as a driver for prosperity and progress for all, while fostering trustworthy, responsible and safe use.

These two complementary strategic priorities will evolve over time: to harness the opportunities offered by AI for innovation and prosperity, and to ensure the conditions for the responsible and trustworthy use of this technology. This strategic framework is also designed to remain sufficiently open to accommodate developments in a rapidly evolving field.

The Geneva AI Summit 2027 is the fifth international summit dedicated to AI governance. It will bring together participants across governments, international organisations, academia, the private sector and civil society to strengthen multilateral dialogue.

Road to Geneva

In the months leading up to the Summit, a series of pre-events – called Road to Geneva – will feature thematic pre-events and multi-stakeholder consultations open to open to governments, businesses, researchers and civil society, with the aim of kick-starting discussions ahead of the Summit. The official launch will take place in August via the Summit’s website.

Summit website
