List of radiocommunications equipment not having to be accompanied by the user information "can be used in Switzerland"
The following equipment must not be accompanied by the information that the equipment may be used in Switzerland (art. 3.2.a. OOIT):
Harmonised "Class 1 Equipment" according to decision 2000/299/CE
- Harmonised radio equipment. The list can be found at:
http://ec.europa.eu/growth/sectors/electrical-engineering/red-directive_en
- Terminal equipment attached to fixed networks and non-transmitting radio equipment.
Additional exempted equipment in Switzerland
- Radiocommunications equipment imported by an individual or legal entity for his own needs and used at non-commercial purposes in so far as the quantity does not exceed 4 units of the same type.
- Radiocommunications equipment which is not subject to conformity assessment and marking as indicated in article 16 TIO.
