1Radiocommunication serviceMobile-
2ApplicationWideband data transmission systemsWireless Access Systems (WAS) including Radio Local Area Networks (RLAN).
Permissible operation:
5150 - 5250 MHz: Indoor use, including installations inside road vehicles, trains and aircraft, and limited outdoor use (refer to ECC/DEC/(04)08). Use by Unmanned Aircraft Systems is limited to within the 5170 - 5250 MHz band;
5250 - 5350 MHz: Indoor use: inside buildings only. Installations in road vehicles, trains and aircraft (exception see ECC/DEC/(04)08) are not permitted. Outdoor use is not permitted.
3Frequency bandA: 5150 - 5250 MHz
B: 5250 - 5350 MHz

7Transmit power / Power densityMax. 200 mW e.i.r.p.
Max. 10 mW/MHz e.i.r.p. density in any 1 MHz band.
Exception: Max. 40 mW e.i.r.p. (5150 - 5250 MHz) for installations inside train carriages (with an attenuation loss on average of less than 12 dB) and road vehicles.
In the band 5250 - 5350 MHz, Transmitter Power Control (TPC) shall provide on average, a mitigation factor of at least 3 dB on the maximum permitted output power of the systems; or, if transmitter power control is not in use, then the maximum permitted mean e.i.r.p. and the corresponding mean e.i.r.p. density limit shall be reduced by 3 dB.
8Channel access and occupation rulesDevices operating in the band 5250 - 5350 MHz must use Transmitter Power Control (TPC) and Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) mitigation techniques.According to ECC/DEC/(04)08.
9Authorisation regimeSwitzerland: License exempt.
Liechtenstein: General authorisation.
Operation on NIB / NPB. (Non interference basis / non protection basis).
