Dispute resolution in telecommunications
Do you have a problem with your operator or a premium-rate 0900 type number? Have you already tried to seek a solution with the other party, without success? You can turn to the telecommunications dispute resolution service; its job is to try to resolve disputes between customers and telecommunications or value-added service providers.
The dispute resolution service provided for in the Telecommunications Act (TCA) began its activities on 3 July 2008 within the ombudscom foundation. Its contract with OFCOM was renewed in June 2018 until the end of 2023. All telecommunications service providers and value-added service providers are obliged to take part in a dispute resolution procedure for disputes under private law if a customer so requests.
