Fees for allocation of addressing resources for radiocommunication services

The information on this page will help you determine the amount of fees to be paid.

Types of fees charged

One-off registration fee

The registration fee for frequency use with addressing resources is CHF 70 for radio equipment in aeronautical, maritime and Rhine services and CHF 35 for packet radio.

One-off fee for call sign allocation

A fee of CHF 110 is payable for radio equipment in aeronautical, maritime and Rhine services and for radio amateurs. 

Periodic fee

The administrative fee for a call sign and one or more identities for the radio equipment in aeronautical, maritime and Rhine services and for radio amateurs is CHF 50 for one year, starting the year after allocation. The administrative fee for packet radio is CHF 25 for five years.

Charging of periodic fee

The administrative fee for a call sign or one or more identities for the radio equipment in aeronautical, maritime and Rhine services and for radio amateurs is automatically charged annually, starting the year after allocation. For packet radio, the administrative fee charged upon registration is valid for five years. After this period, another CHF 25 fee will be invoiced for the next five years.

If a call sign or one or more identities are cancelled, the remaining portion of the periodic fee will not be refunded.
