Organisation

Commissions

The Federal Communications Commission (ComCom) is the independent regulatory authority for the telecommunications market. Established by the Law on Telecommunications (LTC) of 30 April 1997, it consists of 7 members - who must be independent specialists - nominated by the Federal Council. However, it is not subject to any Federal Council or Department directives.

Strategy

OFCOM's strategy is based on its vision, which specifies the general orientation of its actions, and its mission, which derives from the basic mandate which the Federal Council entrusts to OFCOM.

Agenda 2030

On 25 September 2015, the United Nations unanimously adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which forms the global frame of reference for sustainable development until 2030. Switzerland is committed to implementing the 2030 Agenda at both the national and international level.
