Consultations and auditions
Acting on behalf of ComCom, the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Office of Communications OFCOM is currently preparing the invitation to tender for the mobile telephony frequencies that will become available in 2029. It has drawn up draft tender documents for this purpose. Interested parties were given the opportunity to comment on these documents during a consultation period from 14 October to 5 December 2025. The consultation was aimed in particular at mobile network operators planning to participate in the frequency award procedure.
