The IT and Organisation Section is responsible for the centralised construction and operation of the basic systems (IT infrastructure and common applications). It advises the technical departments on IT questions and supports them with defined services. The Section monitors developments in information technology and proposes any necessary adaptations to architectures. It represents the Office in the IT technical committees within the federal administration in accordance with the instructions in force.
