To be offered, placed on the market or used, radiocommunications equipment has to fulfill all applicable legal requirements. The whole of these requirements forms the conditions for placing on the market and use. The information published by OFCOM is limited to the requirements related to the law on telecommunications. They do not give any information on requirements rising from other legislations (for example environmental protection, toys...).
Since 13 June 2016, fixed telecommunications equipment have not been subject to the Ordinance on Telecommunications Installations (FAV) of 25 November 2015, but are now covered by the Ordinance on Electromagnetic Compatibility (OEMC).
