Definition

The operation of equipment for receiving radio/television programmes is subject to registration. Registration with Billag AG must be made in advance.

Private reception

Private reception is defined as reception of the corresponding programmes by the person registering and those who live in the same household, plus their guests.

Professional reception

Reception is defined as professional when equipment is used in a business by personnel for purposes of information and entertainment.

Commercial reception

Reception is defined as commercial reception when radio or television programmes are received to entertain or inform customers and third parties. There are three categories depending on the number of receiver sets.
