Federal Council indicates support opportunities for the media
Bern, 05.12.2014 - Structural changes are continuing in the media industry, media concentration is increasing and advertising revenue is being diverted from tradition to online media. These are the conclusions reached by the Federal Council in a report created in fulfilment of a motion by the Political Institutions Committee of the National Council. The report also indicates how the media industry could be supported in the short term. However, the Federal Council is cautious about the rapid introduction of new support measures.
