Coronavirus: Extension of transitional measures for the media
Bern, 11.11.2020 - The transitional measures put in place to support the print media in relation to the coronavirus are to be extended up until 30 June 2021 for now. In addition, for a further number of months the Confederation will assume the cost of subscriptions to the Keystone-SDA news agency invoiced to the electronic media. This was decided by the Federal Council at its meeting on 11 November 2020. Daily and weekly newspapers and electronic media with a subscription to Keystone-SDA will therefore continue to benefit from additional financial assistance.
