Future coverage areas for local radio and regional TV: Federal Council opens consultation
Bern, 08.09.2021 - The Federal Council is proposing minor changes to the coverage areas for local radio and regional television. The changes are based on the historically evolved situation. In each coverage area, there is to be a public service broadcaster for radio and television, which will be supported with funds from the radio and television fee. At its meeting on 8 September 2021, the Federal Council opened the consultation procedure on the new coverage areas.
