Press subsidies: no change in reduction
Bern, 10.12.2021 - Subscription newspapers and periodicals will receive the same discount on delivery charges from Swiss Post next year as in 2021. On 10 December, the Federal Council decided on indirect press subsidies of CHF 0.29 per copy for local and regional daily and weekly newspapers and CHF 0.18 per copy for publications of non-profit organisations. This decision is independent of the extension of media funding to be put to the vote on 13 February 2022.
