This section presents information on the transcription service for the hearing impaired, the switching service for the partially-sighted and the telecommunications services on 0800, 084x and 0900 numbers.

This table presents information on the transcription service for the hearing-impaired on fixed and mobile connections. The number of calls from mobile connections is insignificant. On the other hand, according to Procom, the hearing-impaired are increasingly using SMS. Since such use does not require any additional infrastructure, unlike voice telephony where a transcriber is used, we are not able to collect information on this form of consumption.
